Dr. Lantow, the owner
of Animal Medical Center, is a graduate of Iowa State
University. He is proud to say that AMC has been serving the
community for 19 years. He encourages growth potential
for doctors and staff on a daily basis, by providing up-to-date
information on the latest advancements in veterinary
technology. He and his staff consistently strive to provide
quality care and excellent customer service to the AMC client
family. Dr. Lantow shares his home with his wife, two
children, and two pets, a dog named Charlotte and a cat named Walter -- who
sometimes can be seen lounging around while visiting AMC!

Dr. Handke is a
graduate of The Ohio State University and has been practicing at
the Animal Medical Center for nine years; since 1999. A resident of
Illinois, she lives with her husband and two
"three-legged" cats named Minnie and Mickey.
Although she still considers Ohio "home", she holds
veterinary licenses in Illinois, Ohio and Indiana. Aside
from veterinary medicine, other favorite things include football
(GO BUCKEYES!), travel and last but not least ...CHOCOLATE!

a University of Illinois graduate and has been practicing at AMC
since 1999. She has a special interest in small mammals and
exotic species, such as ferrets, rabbits, rodents and chinchillas.
In her spare time, she enjoys sudoku and logic puzzles, making
jewelry, paper crafting ...and fueling her "COFFEE"
addiction! She shares her home with her husband, a cat Zani,
two snakes named Sierra and
Shelley and soon the family will be adding a bouncing baby girl to the mix!

resident "Italian Doctor" and practical joker, is a
University of Illinois graduate. He has a
special interest in orthopedic medicine and pain management and
has recently been credentialed in stem cell therapy. In addition to
caring for his regular canine and feline patients, he also sees small mammals and
some exotic species. He lives with his wife and
two cats, Target and Coconut.

three children. Their pets include a miniature schnauzer
named Dolly, Chester the cat, a Russian tortoise named Turtie and
Shelly the hermit crab.

Dr. Bergquist is a 2007
Iowa State University graduate. The newest of the doctors at
Animal Medical Center, she began practicing in July 2007. A
great addition to the staff, she already has a lot in common with
her AMC family -- along with veterinary medicine, she enjoys
crafting and sewing and is proud to say she shares an affection
for both chocolate and caffeine! Originally from Iowa, the
Hawkeye State, she currently resides in
Illinois and is a "FAVORITE" Aunt to four nieces and
nephews.
